I'm glad that Zhang Zi-Yi did not get to play the role of Fa Mulan, a legendary female warrior who took her dad's place in the war to save him from imminent death.

I find Zhang Zi-Yi with all her pretty cheap antics and multi-rich foreign lover a poor choice that would not only be a disaster but as well tarnish the good name of Fa Mulan. Enough said of this tart.

Zhao Wei is a Chinese film actress and a singer. Born and raised in Wuhu, Anhui Province, China, she is the second child of Zhao Jiahai (赵家海) and Wei Qiying (魏启颖).

She is more well known for her pivotal role in Princess Pearl, a television series. After Princess Pearl was released, Zhao also began a singing career with her first album, Swallow. After her breakthrough, Zhao has been involved in numerous controversies about her personal and professional lives, including posing in a dress resembling a Japanese war flag.

It wasn't as widely seen as the Janet Jackson incident at the Super Bowl, but an NFL broadcast has once again unwittingly shown too much skin.

In a postgame locker room video that was supposed to capture Vikings owner Zygi Wilf presenting the game ball to coach Brad Childress, FOX cameras accidentally caught towel-clad tight end Visanthe Shiancoe in their shot.

The problem? Shiancoe's towel was not fully covering his groin area.

"It obviously was an oversight on our part and we apologize," said FOX Sports vice president of Communications Dan Bell.

Naruto Shippuden picks up two years after Naruto leaves to train with Jiraiya the Toad Sage. He returns to his village. Changed in physical appearance he is still the same inside. This time he s faces new dangers but this time with the help of all of his friends. With the criminal group Akatsuki constantly after all the tailed beasts, Naruto is in constant danger to himself and his friends. He is not concerned about them the least bit, all he cares about is saving the one friend he considered to be almost his brother, Sasuke Uchiha. During his constant battles and fights Naruto learns truths he may not of been supposed to learn, and gains powers that destroy his own body. With all this going on, Naruto constantly strives for his goals, and with the support of his friends. It seems as though he can do anything.

I just love Naruto.

Farewell TRL!

Celebrities said farewell to a piece of music history this week when TRL filmed its last episode and prepared to shut down its famous Times Square studio. Music heavyweights including Beyonce, Hilary Duff, Justin Timberlake and 50 Cent came out for the show’s "Total Finale Live." Pop Music legends were born on TRL and its finale marks the end of a music era.

I am voting (in spirit) for Barack Obama because we share a common faith in peace, justice, humanity, and social change.

Our faith was profoundly tested during 12 years of Reagan-Bush and 8 more of Bush-Cheney. America has fallen from the leader among nations to the pariah. Our economy is collapsing, our savings are vanishing, and our planet is in peril. Yet the powerful people and institutions who created this disaster continue to rule us - and rob us blind.

Barack Obama is an extraordinary gift to America and the world. Through compassion, intelligence, and hard work, he has overcome the enormous obstacles of race and lack of wealth. He is an inspiration to us all.

In just two years, he has built a movement unlike any in history. KUALA LUMPUR: Bollywood idol Shah Rukh Khan will now flaunt the prefix 'Datuk', a traditional title conferred by the Malaysian royalty and akin to the British knighthood. The Indian heartthrob will receive his Datukship from the Malacca head, Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob later on Saturday. He has been listed as an artiste from Dreamz Unlimited, his filmmaking company, in the list of recipients. Shah Rukh will receive the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM), the third highest title. He is among 77 recipients of the title. Khan, 43, is a highly acclaimed Indian actor who works in Bollywood films, as well as a film producer and television host. He has starred in several box-office movies and won awards throughout his career, The New Straits Times said Saturday. Among Malaysian Indians to be awarded are Putra Specialist Hospital anaesthesiologist, P.T. Aiyaroo, Recron (Malaysia) Director Anil Rajvanshi, Baljit and Partners Managing Director Baljit Singh Balwant Singh, Jasin Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) division deputy chairman K. Karpan and Malaysian Federation of Indian Muslim Associations president Meera Mohideen Jamal Mohd. The Malaysian awards, akin to the British knighthood, are allowed to form part of the prefix of those conferred. Films from India, both in Hindi and Tamil, are regular fare in Malaysia, a multi-ethnic society with an estimated 2.6 million Indian diaspora, besides workers from other South Asian nations.

Mawi to have three wedding receptions

KUALA LUMPUR: I'm no fan and personally don't think much of him or his singing or his alleged talents but three wedding receptions, each with its own theme - this is what singer Mawi and his sweetheart, actress Nora’Ashikin Rahmat (or Ekin), have planned when they get married in December. The duo, after dating for almost two years, announced yesterday that they would get married at a mosque in Johor Baru on Dec 20. “We are still discussing the venue for the akad nikah at the moment and will announce it once it has been confirmed,” said a glowing Mawi, 27, at a press conference here. “The wedding reception arranged by Ekin’s family, which will be held at the Indoor Stadium in Larkin, Johor Baru, on Dec 20 will feature a modern, contemporary theme,” he said. “My family’s reception in Felda Taib Andak in Kulai, Johor on Dec 28, will have a Javanese concept, complete with kuda kepang.” The third reception, in Kuala Lumpur on Jan 1, would have Middle Eastern flavour, Mawi said. Mawi, who met Ekin, 29, in February last year, said he proposed to her on the phone from Syria while filming his travelogue series, Mawi Di Bumi Anbia. It is learnt that Astro has obtained the rights to broadcast all three wedding receptions.

Dating someone stupid Madonna

Last night, just hours after confirming her divorce, Material Girl (aunty now) Madonna, who was performing to a sold out crowd in Boston, dedicated a song to Guy Ritchie. However, the track “Miles Away,” a little ditty based on their strained, career-based long distance relationship, wasn’t exactly a thank you for all the good times. Madonna set it up by saying, “This song is for the emotionally retarded. You may know a few people like that. God knows I do.” Ouch! Poor Guy, no one deserves to be dragged through the mud, and the media, by their ex.

Despite my obvious Madonna worship which started way back as teenager listening to Like a Virgin, I really feel sad for Guy. In relationships, no matter how bad they turn out, it should never be dragged out into the open. Maybe that's an Asian thing but I know that there's also a saying that goes along the lines of, Never air your dirty linen in public. Hopefully, Guy Ritchie gets more rich from his divorce settlement, unless there's a pre-nuptial agreement.

Chris Cooley Apologized for Accidentally Posting Naked Pic on His Blog

Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley apologized Monday for accidentally posting a naked picture of himself on his blog.
Cooley wanted to show his blog, which is located at chriscooley47.blogspot.com, readers a quiz in his playbook that he had to take prior to the Redskins game against the New Orleans Saints.
However, Cooley was naked in his hotel room when he took the picture of the playbook and part of his naked penis was included in the photo that he posted on the blog.
Cooley's brother Tanner is the editor of the blog, but Tanner was driving to the game from their home in Ashburn when Cooley spontaneously posted the photo.
When Tanner looked at the photos shortly after Cooley posted them, Tanner did not notice that Cooley's naked body could be seen in them due to the size of the screen. However, after the game, Tanner checked the blog on Cooley's bigger computer screen.
Once they saw a clearer view of the picture, Tanner, Cooley and his wife Christy Oglevee freaked out after realizing that his naked body was indeed seen in the picture.
The photo has since been taken down from Cooley's blog despite being circulated throughout the Internet for a couple of hours on Sunday.
Last season, Cooley made the NFL Pro Bowl team in just his third year in the league. In May, Cooley married Oglevee, a former Redskins cheerleader, who was fired by the team after she violated a team policy for dating him.

Heath Ledger Daughter Matilda to Inherit Estate

Heath Ledger’s family has decided that his 2-year-old daughter Matilda Rose should inherit his entire estate. The actor made his will two years before Matilda, his daughter with ex-girlfriend Michelle Williams, was born. His entire estate was left to his parents and sisters. Ledger’s father Kim says the family believes Matilda should receive all of the money. “That’s how Heath would want it,” Kim said of the decision. "There was never any question about the fact that Heath's estate would go to Matilda. Never a question. We are very close to Michelle and Matilda,” he said, adding that it was decided “from the moment my boy passed away.” Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription medication in January. He was 28.

Beyonce Knowles is reportedly furious over the fact that Jennifer Hudson, the American Idol castoff who was supposed to be an afterthought in the upcoming Beyonce vehicle, Dreamgirls, is garnering all the attention and critical acclaim. A source says:

Jennifer attended the screening of the movie and (acknowledged) Tina & Mathew Knowles, but they pretended not to see her ... and Mathew threw Jennifer the ugliest look." After the screening, Mathew Knowles reportedly called up the films director and "let him have it" over his little girl being overshadowed...Things came to head between Beyonce and Hudson when the diva refused to speak to her co-star prior to their appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show. "Backstage, Beyonce hugged/greeted everyone, but did not say a word to or even look in Jennifer's direction."

This isn't surprising because Mathew Knowles is basically the black "Papa" Joe Simpson. He broke up the best-selling female group in music history just so Beyonce wouldn't have to share the spotlight with her childhood friends. If karma was real, a girl who couldn't win a karaoke contest would be the breakout star of Beyonce's new movie. Oh wait, it I guess it is. Aww, don't cry Beyonce, your weave looks so much better than hers.

How to be a great rapper

Great rappers make it look easy.

They just talk, right?

Of course, anyone who's seen not-so-great rappers -- or tried unsuccessfully to rap for themselves -- knows that's not true. If they falter in any one area, the result is as noticeable as a singer out of tune or a drummer out of time. To be considered great, a rapper must master all these skills:

The rhymes: First of all, verses must rhyme.

By doing that creatively, rappers set themselves apart. Whether it's making up words like Snoop Dogg's "izzle" speak or changing pronunciation like the Beastie Boys' rhyming "Wylie E. Coyatee" with "lattee."

In "99 Problems," Jay-Z manages to rhyme "hoes," "those" and "zapatos" to explain why critics are wrong about him.

In "Without Me," Eminem rhymes "controversy," "Elvis Presley," "selfishly" and "wealthy" to sarcastically explain how his race has helped his success.

The flow: The way the rapper delivers his lines in time with the music. That can be fast like Twista or slow like Snoop Dogg, but the rhythm needs to be consistent throughout the song.

Diction: With so many syllables going past quickly, it is important to be able to enunciate while still being able to be understood. In "Don't Say Nuthin'," The Roots make fun of mumble-mouthed rappers whose rhymes can't be deciphered at any speed.

Originality: Perhaps more than any other music genre's fans, hip-hop fans are always looking for something new, something that sets the rapper apart from the rest. A sure way to lose fans is to rely on old standbys such as counting ("to the 1, to the 2" ... ), "yo mama" jokes or asking fans to put their hands in the air and waving them like you just don't care. A sure way to gain them is to create new words (Jay-Z's "Denzellin'"), new catch phrases (Missy Elliott's "Get your freak on") or new scenarios (Eminem's crazed-fan tale "Stan").

Personality: The best rappers are able to offer some of their individuality while still following all the rules of rap -- either by telling personal stories or offering a new spin on often-told tales.
