Star Couplings: Natalie Portman and Devendra Banhart

It's back to being single for actress Natalie Portman. In Touch Weekly is reporting that the aspiring director and her musician boyfriend, Devendra Banhart, have broken up. A source close to Devendra confirms, "Yes, they have broken up." That sucks, especially since Portman even appeared in a Bollywood-inspired music video for her now ex-boyfriend's song, Carmensita. The two apparently fell in love while shooting the video months ago. Couples shouldn't work together! The vid will be a constant reminder of what they used to have. Portman had even moved from NY to Los Angeles just to be closer to Devendra. The source adds, "Natalie and Devendra will remain friends but need some space and time away." No worries, we still think she can do better!
